Coping With the Heat

24 06 2012

It’s officially summer now. The calendar says so, but the heat screams it!

Some people love the heat. When I was a teenager (LONG ago!), I used to sunbathe with my girlfriends.

But for people, like me, who have multiple sclerosis, heat and humidity must be avoided. That can translate into missed activities with family & friends.

Recently, I wrote a devotional about how to cope.

How do you cope with the summer heat?

How do you cope with disappointments?

How do you deal with it?

We all face trials at one time or another – some severe, others perpetual annoyances.

Living with multiple sclerosis challenges me to fix my thoughts on Him instead of my constant pain.
